hi, and welcome to a new video. in this video i am going to show you how you easily can create wooden boxes, or the easiest way to create boxes. using just a table saw, a crosscut sled and this piece of wood with a 45 degree angle. the first thing i am going to do is to cut the pieces i need for my wooden box. i just cut four equal pieces of wood to the same length to make it simple.
easy weekend woodworking projects, ok, so now we have four pieces of wood and we are ready to cut the miters. i'm going to clamp this to the crosscut sled at the edge of the (blade) groove. i want this to be the outside of the box so i will hold this to the 45 degree piece. ...and just push it down
...until it stops in the (blade) groove so, that's it! to finish the wooden box i am going to make a groove here for a piece of plywood used for the bottom. (ouch.... table saw kickback!) didn't expect that... so, let's just do a final check to see if this is square. looks good... the only thing we need to do now is to glue this together. if you liked this video please give me a thumbs up
