welcome to watch this video. this is the cnc milling machine in our workshop. there is the spindle unit of roland modela mdx-20 with a 3/8" holder to use this time. here is how i clamped pieces of wood which are adhered with double-sided tapes. the router bit used this time is a saw blade with 3/8" shank.
woodworking router milling machine, it is then installed to the tool holder. check the cable connection and put back the protective screen. the machine is power on now. push the view button to enter the standby mode.
check the spindle and tool rotation by pressing up / down button. test the tool path, and there is no touch between the tool and workpiece. the mdx-20 machine will set zero for z-axis with the last position by manual leveling. the 1st trial created a mark here. here is the machined wood piece. you can clearly see an undercut slot on the wood piece at this end. it seems the clamping doesn't well aligning with the y-axis. the depth of cut is shadow at the other end.
