so the things that actually stopping the routerfrom going any further along the rack and pinion is actually because the inside hasbeen machined, and i imagine if you had a metal lathe, you might actually be able to continuethis machining all the way down to the bottom. and potentionally what that would allow youto do, is to be able to poke the collet out from the top on the router table without everneeding to take it off - that would maybe
