on behalf of expert village, my name is husainabdul alim and i am here to tell you all about wood carving. we don't use a lot of powertools although i do have a dremel. my main power tool would be that chainsaw that yousaw earlier on when i was slicing my wood. just be careful that you don't get your fingersin the way and keep some oil in it. but that will slice off wood or slice off limbs withthe power tool. the next most important one
essential power tools for woodworking, is our drill. its got a nice large bit onit. this is great for opening up eyes, noses, mouths and i would say ears but i don't putthat many ears on it. so here is a piece that needs some eyes here and it needs the mouthopened up. i just have the nose in here and i want to open up the nose and the mouth andthen i will put the lines on later.
okay, and as you saw my blade was wiggling,i need my key to tighten it up. okay, we got our key because my bit was a little bit looseso we are going to tighten that up a crank and that is better. and we are going to putthe eyes in and that is where we are going to use our rasp a little bit later to comeback and clean them up. put lines around the eyes. and this is what we are talking aboutbalance a little earlier. that is our drill. we got our circular saw, it is used at times.sometimes you are making platforms and you need a platform for the bottom of your inscent burner.
